About Cristina Mattison

Cristina Mattison, PhD, is the Director of Insight Research & Policy. She is a health systems and policy expert with over 20 years of research and consulting experience, specializing in sexual and reproductive health and rights. Cristina applies intersectional and collaborative approaches, with expertise in monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, co-creation, and knowledge translation.
Cristina advises governments, organizations, and advocacy groups, translating research into applied strategies that drive sustainable change. She holds a PhD in Health Policy and an MSc in Global Health from McMaster University.
With a commitment to high-quality evidence generation and collaboration, Cristina helps partners navigate complex policy challenges to advance sustainable, equitable health systems.
